Spring card kit

pringtime greetings don’t get
much cheerier than these!
Choose from one of two
gorgeous designs – either
a cute spotty teapot and pink cuppa or
a dear little blue tit perched on a cherry
blossom branch. Whether you want to
send heartfelt thanks, birthday wishes
or a quick Mother’s Day card, either of
these sweet motifs would be just the
ticket. Start stitching one straight away
with your new perforated card kit!
Your kit includes a beautifully
illustrated greetings card with a
perforated area on the front for your
chosen design, as well as a matching
white envelope. You’ll also find all the
threads you need to stitch either chartinside – they include a combination
of pretty pinks and china blues, plus
a soft green, a slate grey and a sunny
yellow. Such a lovely colour scheme!
When you start stitching, remember
that the perforated card is much more
delicate than aida or other fabrics, so
avoid pulling the threads too tightly.
And keep an eye on your threads at the
back of the work, too, by weaving them
into the middle-back of your stitches
and cutting them neatly – that way, they
won’t show through the holes.
Once you’ve finished your card, stitch
the charts again and again on aida to
make more spring greetings. Try using
them on gift bags and trinket pots and
