HOW TO Create and manage playlists

1

Open Playlists
In Music, go to the Library tab where you
should see Playlists along with Albums, Songs,
Genres, etc. If you don’t, tap Edit in the top
right corner, and select the Playlists option.
Then tap on Playlists to open it.

2

Create a playlist
Once you have opened the Playlists
option, tap the New Playlist option at the top.
This will open up an interface where you can
name your playlist, add a cover image, a
playlist description and some songs.

3

Add music
Tap the Add Music button, this will allow
you to browse your library, recommended
music (For You) and the Apple Music catalogue
(Browse). Simply tap the red ‘+’ button on the
right side to add a song to your playlist.

4

Add while listening
If you’re listening to a song and want to
add it to a playlist, tap the More (...) button.
From the menu, tap the ‘Add to a Playlist’
option. You can now add this song to an
existing playlist, or create a new one.

5

Add Apple Music playlists
If you want to add an Apple Music playlist
to your library, tap and open the playlist. At
the top, you should see a large red ‘+ Add’
button. Tapping this will automatically add the
entire playlist to your collection.

6

Share playlists
You can share your playlists with friends,
although they’ll also need an Apple Music
subscription. Tap the red More button (...),
followed by the Share icon. Select AirDrop or
one of your other installed apps.

playlists from your
Apple Music profile by
tapping the Edit button
inside a playlist.
