The 33–million–pixel screen just melts away into

the wall. It’s surprisingly thin, too, for a TV with

a full–array backlight — that’s tech that means

there’s a full panel of LED lights behind the LCD

screen, giving brighter highs than OLED screens

can manage, but the LEDs can selectively dim

or turn off to give rich, dark blacks. This is the

TV to watch out for this year.
