Print images or lose
them, says Eyewitness
A new campaign is
calling for photographers
to print out their images
before losing them
forever. Eyewitness,
founded by Fabrizia
Costa, argues that our
long-term memory is
flawed, so our most
treasured images can
easily slip away. To

Eyewitness, and join

roving that great
things do come in
small packages,
Olympus recently updated
its compact but pro-spec
OM-D E-M1. The Mark III
retains the 20.4MP sensor
of the Mark II, but gets a new
TruePix IX image sensor
which allows a selection

of attractive features to be
ported over from Olympus’s
flagship E-M1 X. These
include seven stops of image
stabilisation, a selection
of autofocus improvements
and 4K/C4K video capture
up to 30 frames per second.

lympus has also released a new
zoom lens for its M.Zuiko Pro
range. The 12-45mm f/4 is
compact and lightweight, and weather-
sealed for shooting in demanding
situations. Optical performance is
promised to be superb throughout the
zoom range, with precise and high-speed
AF courtesy of a small and low-weight
focusing lens. The new lens will be
available from the end of March.
