“Already ” is used when
something has happened,
usually sooner than expected.
“ Yet ” means “until now.” It
shows that something hasn’t
happened, but it will happen
in the future.

“ALREADY” AND “YET”

Means something has happened.

The adverb “still” means an
action or situation is ongoing.
