(^78) I kept an eye on the news concerning the approaching Hurricane
Sandy. The information didn’t seem promising as the hurricane grew
in size and strength as it crept closer to the United States East Coast.
The following two days’ flights, to and from Washington, were
cancelled and I feared my flight would be next.
