JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP
ZAGREB, CROATIA
JULY 20-23, 2023
The European Universities Judo Championship 2023 was
held in Zagreb, Croatia as part of the second edition of EUSA
Combat Championships. In total 1303 participants, coming
from 400 universities from 31 countries took part in the biggestEuropean Universities Championship of the summer, which
included four sports: Judo, Kickboxing, Taekwondo and Karate.The Judo competition on its
own attracted 407 participants,
from which 202 were male
student athletes and 126 were
female student athletes. These
athletes were coming from 138
universities, from 22 countries.The Croatian Academic Sports
Association was the main
organiser of the event with the
support from the European
Judo Union and Croatian Judo
Federation.In attendance on behalf of
the EUSA was SCAC Chair,
Francis Marco Maria Cirianni
and Technical Delegate of Judo,
Wieslaw Blach. As Control
Commission Members, present
