EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES

TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

For the European Universities Taekwondo Championship

2023, it was the seventh time being featured at

the EUSA Championships program. Held in Zagreb,

Croatia, the European Taekwondo Championship for

the second time took part of the European Universities

Combat Sports Championships, merged together with

three other sports: Judo, Karate and Kickboxing.

A total number of 1303

participants, coming from

400 Universities from 31

countries taking part across

all four competitions, with

the Taekwondo competition

made up of 299 participants,

representing 123 universities

from 22 countries.

The Croatian Academic Sports

Association was the main

organizers of the event with

the support from the European

University Sports Association

(EUSA), with the support of

World Taekwondo Europe.
