The competition was organised
by the Spanish University Sports
Committee (CEDU), together
with the University of Granada.

Present on behalf of EUSA
on the competition were Liviu
Matac, EUSA SCAC Chair
along with Technical Delegate
Michal Sikorski and Sara
Rozman, EUSA Education and
Development Manager.

After six heated days of sport
action on the tennis courts in
Granada, athletes gave their
maximum to reach the wanted

victories and results, giving their

best sportsmanship, fairplay and

showing great tennis skills.

In men’s finals, the title of

champion went to the University

of Bordeaux (FRA) who won a

thrilling final match against the

University of Zurich (SUI), having

University of Cologne (GER)

on the third position with the

bronze medal.

In the women’s competition,

University of Grenoble Alpes

(FRA) was awarded the gold

medal following the victory over

University of Geneva (SUI). The

third position on the podium

was occupied by Paris Dauphine

University (FRA).

Tennis will be taking part of

the sport list of the next edition

of the European Universities

Games 2024 in Debrecen and

Miskolc, Hungary, following

which Coimbra, Portugal will

be the host of the 14th of the

European Universities Tennis

Championship in 2025.
