David Melody started
photography when
dinosaurs roamed the earth
and rolls of film had to be
sent by post to be printed.
He gave up following
repeated disappointment,
eagerly opening the return
envelope only to find that
23 of 24 images were out of
focus! Last year, however,
a birthday gift of the Vision
2022 photobook led him
to BPG and revived a long-
dormant passion.
In artistic terms, he
particularly likes the yin-
yang of chiaroscuro, though
technique-wise he’s still
taking baby steps on the
road to photographic
proficiency.
