One of the most popular vendor tables at last Saturday’s City Kids Day at B.C.’s
Kellogg Arena was Rock N Roll Creamery, which provided free ice cream
treats to all who attended the fifth annual event. (Shopper News photo by Will Kowalski)

Williams said that among the
City Kids Day stations available
for youngsters to visit included
those run by the Battle Creek Police
Department, Willard Library, Battle
Creek Public Schools, Big Tym Fun
(with its game systems), Roll Bounce
and More, Music of South Central
Michigan, and other arts and crafts
tables.
“Plus,” Williams said, “Kellogg’s
donated over 500 boxes of cereal for
us to give away, we have DJ Take
5 on site, we have all kinds of food
and ice cream and beverage stations
where everything’s free, we have
Tito’s for giving free haircuts to the
kids, a kids’ tattoo artist, an artist
doing fun-time character drawings,
face paintings and much more.
“I just keep on smiling today,” con-
cluded Williams, “because everyone
here is smiling. And that’s just the
way it’s supposed to be for kids in
this community – having a smile on
their faces while taking part in the
fun things we have to do here at City
Kids Day.”
