The Misfits Car Club of Battle
Creek will host its second annual Del
Shannon Car Show as part of Del
Shannon Weekend in Battle Creek
this Saturday (June 29) at Leila
Arboretum from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Gates will open at 9:30 a.m., and
car registration is through 11 a.m.
To register a vehicle, visit donor-
box.org/delshannoncarshow2024.
Classic car vehicle registration is
$15 in advance for each one entered
in the show – with advance registra-
tion guaranteeing a Del Shannon Car
Show dash plaque. Vehicle registra-
tion is also $15 cash at the gate on
Saturday.

Father’s Day Car Show at Charlton
Park in Hastings – an event hosted

there is a $5 per vehicle for parking.
The car show, food, music and
games will all be part of the day’sfestivities.
All proceeds will go to the Battle
Creek Regional History Museum.

The Misfits Car Club of B.C.,
which has a membership of 28 and
growing, is coming off hosting –
for its first time ever – the annual
Father’s Day Car Show at Charlton
Park.
According to club president Del
Kilbourne, 700 classic cars were
entered, over 130 swap meet places
were filled, there were 10 food
trucks, and the Misfits had cash
prizes of $500 (one), $250 (one),
$200 (one) and $100 (10) for win-
ning vehicles.
