- an event that had a start-finish line
located across Helmer Road from the
B.C. Executive Airport grounds dur-
ing the annual B.C. Field of Flight

about the top finishers in the Half

last week’s edition.
The HM/5K featured an all-time
event record number of participants,

The age range for participants was
7 to 77.
Both the Half Marathon and the 5K
had courses that included time spent
on the Field of Flight grounds at the
airport as well as on local streets and
in local neighborhoods.
Proceeds from the day were again
donated by CCA to Talons Out
Honor Flight.
Note: Next up locally for the CCA
group is the annual Cereal City
Triathlon and Duathlon event on
Saturday, July 20; and that will then
be followed by the Cereal City KIDS
Triathlon on Saturday, Aug. 17. Both
events have start/finish lines at the
Willard Beach area. For more infor-
mation, or to sign up, visit cerealcity-
