BSA Troop 355 held its Annual
Labor Day Car Show on the grounds
of Chapel Hill United Methodist
Church in Battle Creek Sept. 2 with
approximately 75 vehicles entered.
Troop 355 Scoutmaster Dan Lok
noted that the number of this year’s
entries were about the same as the
2023 show.
Proceeds raised from the show,
which include entry fees, games and
concessions allow the troop to work
on more projects, go on camping
trips and purchase new equipment,
noted Lok.
Lok added that Troop 355 is look-

interested or looking for information
about the troop, they should go to

show was Craig Palmer of Clio,
Mich., which is located north of
Flint. Palmer was there with his 2017
Corvette Coupe Z51.

a Corvette was on my bucket list
for 45 years. I almost bought one
two weeks before my wife and I got
married 51 years ago. We bought a
Chevelle Super Sport instead, so it
was always in the back of my mind
to get a Corvette. It was worth the
wait.”

Palmer said he takes his Corvette
to 40-45 shows each season (he
averages two per weekend) but this
year he started in February by taking

part at indoor car shows around the
country.
