tion.

last year to do the first, and we
thought it went well, well enough
to try to do a second one,” said
Andrews of Food Prize. “That’s
how I how I got my start in the

in the food manufacturing/production category at the first ever Battle Creek
Food Prize Pitch Competition last year at Kellogg Arena. Her jam can be

ries and how their businesses have
grown inspired us to do another
one after the first one. It was such a
great event, although we can always
have more people attend, it turned
out to be such a great event with
such great spirit of like, just all of
these entrepreneurs getting together,
both being supportive of each other,
and celebrating and practicing giv-
ing pitches. It’s not something that
everybody has the has had the expe-
rience to do.”
Ticket holders can not only pur-
chase food and samples from the
contestants but 20 other food vendors
will be onsite, too, he said.
