Smith, 79,
of Battle
Creek,
Mich.,
passed
away
Tuesday,
October
1, 2024 at
Rose Arbor
Hospice. She was born May 26,
1945, the daughter of Clarence
William Parker Sr. and Sarah
May (Pierce) Parker.
Sara worked for various plac-
es throughout her life, including
Holiday Inn, Custom Blending,
which is now Drakes, Gayla
Food and then Eckrich, before
her retirement.
She enjoyed going to
the dances at the Scotts
Community Center and crochet-
ing gifts for all those around her.
Sara was devoted to her family.
She loved to spend time, make
memories and enjoy laughs
with all of her children, grand-
children and all those around

her.
Sara is survived by her
daughters, Serena Boyer, Tonia
(Leland) Riddle, Kelly Bear;
grandchildren, Aron (Amanda)
Elliott, JoLynn (Patrick) Sims,
Jasmine (Duane) Boyer,
Zachary Boyer, Leland (Katie)
Riddle Jr., Faith (Cody) Shea,
Lita Bear and Kealan Bear;
great-grandchildren, Tagen
Sims, Aden Collins, Cloe Elliott,
Amiel Bradd, Owen Elliott,
Aron Elliott, Brayden Riddle,
Zander Sims, Sophia Riddle,
Blakely Riddle, Joseph; great-
great-grandchild, J’love; brother,
Clarence W. Parker, Jr.; and
special daughter, Dawn Bennett.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; three sisters; and a
brother.
To honor Sara’s wishes, cre-
mation has taken place and a
celebration of life service will be
held at a later date.
