Several hundred people turned out for
the 2024 Veterans Day Program at the Fort
Custer National Cemetery on Monday, Nov.
11.
Col. Frank J. Walker, Retired USAF/ANG,
and Chair of the FCNC Advisory Board
served as the Master of Ceremonies.
The program included invocation/bene-
diction by Pastor Jamey Nichols of Living
Hope Community Church; opening remarks
by Fort Custer National Cemetery Director
Rodney Heard, patriotic music by Jonathon
Barnes and fourth-grade students from
Comstock STEM Academy, Honors from the
