The St. Philip Catholic Central
High School volleyball team defeat-
ed host Climax-Scotts in five sets to
claim its Div. 4 district tournament
title on Nov. 8.
After losing the first set 25-20, St.
Phil won set two by a score of 25-17.
Climax-Scotts took set three 25-19
and then St. Phil stormed back to
take set four 25-20 and the fifth and
deciding set 15-12.
St. Phil traveled to Martin for the
regional semifinal on Nov. 12 after
the Shopper News had gone to press.
