I thought Lake Balaton was the closest place to heaven. With its blue
skies, lukewarm water, and no wind, it was no surprise that the area
was swarming with tourists. The lakeshore was extraordinarily
shallow and excellent for floating in calm, warm waters. Shops,
restaurants, and bars were scattered about, adding to the vibrant
holiday atmosphere.
