As always when cycle touring, I was amazed and humbled by the kind
generosity of strangers and the random acts of kindness bestowed on
us by the people of Hungary and Romania.
I also thank Edmund Carter for allowing me to use his photographs in
this book.
Furthermore, I am immensely thankful to my sister, Amanda, who
has selflessly kept my journal entries and photos well-organised
throughout the years. Without her, there would be no record of my
travels.
I would also like to thank my friend, Val Abrahamse, who efficiently
managed my personal and financial matters while I travelled the
globe. Her conscientious efforts enabled me to achieve my goals.
