After the ride from Takkalai to Kanyakumari, Amanda reached her destination.
She was pretty pleased with herself, and rightly so, achieving her goal and
India’s most southerly point. Three oceans met in Kanyakumari: the Indian
Ocean, the Bay of Bengal, and the Arabian Sea.
Ernest stripped Amanda’s bike to hunt for usable parts, replacing it with his old,
worn components. It must’ve cost her a fortune to fix the bicycle once home. By
evening, we had a meal at one of the better hotels as a farewell meal.
