CLUB OF DONORS
EUSA’s Club of Donors plays a vital role in ensuring the continued success
of our programs and activities, providing crucial support to our developing
member federations.
The Club’s overarching goal
is to fund mainly the progress
of university sport throughout
Europe, fostering growth,
opportunity, and participation.
In 2024, EUSA reaffirmed its
commitment to the developing
National University Sports
Associations, prioritizing their
participation in EUSA events.
This commitment was realized
through the development fund,
established in partnership with
the Organizing Committee of the
European Universities Games
2024 Debrecen-Miskolc.
This fund mainly supported
eligible recipients, including
active developing EUSA
members and those with limited
or no EUSA event participation in
the past two years.
Through these funds, valuable
support in terms of participation
in the European Universities
Games 2024 and other 2024
EUSA events, was established.
As a result of this joint effort,
athletes and officials representing
nine different countries received
crucial financial assistance
to compete in the Games,
particularly in sports like Table
Tennis, Chess, Combat Sports,
and 3x3 Basketball. Beyond
the Games, these funds also
facilitated participation in the
EUSA Conference and the EUSA-
FISU seminar, broadening access
to professional development and
networking opportunities.
Furthermore, a portion of the
funds was strategically allocated
to further the development of
university sports within Hungary.
EUSA deeply appreciates the
generosity of all its donors.
Their support is instrumental
in advancing university sports,
demonstrating solidarity with
developing member federations,
and empowering young athletes
to pursue their athletic aspirations
and build fulfilling sports careers.
Looking ahead to 2025,
EUSA remains steadfast in
its commitment to supporting
developing member National
University Sports Associations,
prioritizing their participation in
EUSA events.
