GALA EVENTS
With a festive academic
atmosphere, on the 7th of
February, the Croatian Academic
Sports Federation celebrated
UniSport Stars – the annual
sports awards as well as the
30 th jubilee birthday of the
association. On behalf of EUSA,
present at the awarding event
were: EUSA President, Adam
Roczek, EUSA Secretary General
Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Treasurer
Francis Cirianni and EC Member
Andreas Csonka.
Finnish Student Sports Federation
(OLL) celebrated its centenary
100 th anniversary on Saturday,
13 th April 2024 with a Gala at
Koskenranta Event Centre, in
Helsinki. The celebration brought
together secretary generals
and chairpersons from previous
decades, a great number of
OLL alumni, university sports
employees, representatives of
national exercise and sports
organisations and sports
influencers from international
networks. Among others, present
guests and officials were greeted
on behalf of Adam Roczek,
President of the European
University Sports Association
(EUSA) and Fernando Parente,
Director of Development
and Healthy Campus of the
International University Sports
Federation (FISU).On October 23-24, 2024,
Warsaw served as the key
point for the University Sports
Association of Poland (AZS)
community, hosting the
University Sports Congress and
Gala, held at DoubleTree by
Hilton Hotel.This annual celebration of
university sport, held at the end
of October, highlights athletic
achievements, recognizes
coaches and universities for their
contribution, and awards the
organisers of best sports events
held in Poland.The 15th University Sports Gala,
organized by the Portugal
University Sports Federation
(FADU), was held in Viseu, at
Pousada Pestana, on November
12 th, and brought together the
academic and sports community
to celebrate the achievements
