In the men’s category, Augustinas
Mikstas (Vytautas Magnus
University, LTU) was named
MVP, while Georgi Gerganov
(University of Shumen, BUL)
took the Best Scorer Award,
and Jaka Oberlajt (University of
Ljubljana, SLO) won the Shootout
Contest. The Men’s Team of
the Tournament consisted of
Augustinas Mikstas (Vytautas
Magnus unviersity, LTU), Georgi
Gerganov (University of Shumen,
BUL) and Marius Mihai Ciotlaus
(Polytechnic University of
Bucharest, ROM).Besides the team tournament,
the men’s slum dunk contest also
took place, resulting with the
winner being Iliia Kabatsiura from
Sumy State University (UKR).The winners of the first and
second place of both men’s and
women’s competition qualified for
the FISU University World Cup
in 3x3 Basketball that took place
in Xiamen, China, from 22 to 24
November.EUSA and the city of Salerno,
Italy, are looking forward to
welcoming student-athletes to
the next EUSA 3x3 basketball
event during the season
of European Universities
Championships, to be held from
