Weather Overview
In Oman, the climate is a tropical desert almost everywhere, with
some summer rains in northern and southern mountain areas. The
best time to visit Oman, to go on excursions to the desert and the
mountains, or to stroll around the cities, is winter, from December to
February, which is sunny, pleasantly warm along the coast and quite
warm in the desert during the day, but cool at night, and even cold in
the mountains.
The UAE also enjoys a desert climate with hot summers and cool
winters. August is the hottest month in Dubai, with an average
temperature of 36°C, and the coldest is January at 19°C.
