The competition was organised
by the Hungarian University
Sports Federation and the
University of Physical Education,
the host university of the event.

Present on behalf of EUSA
in the Hungarian capital was
EUSA Auditor and Executive
Committee member Mr Liviu
Matac and Bridge Technical
Delegate Mr Harry Van de
Peppel.

After four days of intriguing
play, the Team Championship

title was earned by Kozminski

University from Poland, with

Czech Republic’s Charles

University taking the runners-up

spot. Joining their Polish friends

on the podium was Wroclaw

University, who ended the

competition in third place.

All the Bridge participants

gathered with the Chess players

on the final evening for the

Closing Ceremony, complete

with an awards ceremony,

which took place at Budapest’s

University of Physical Education.
