16 countries took part in the 13
th
edition of European
Universities Football Championship held in Madrid, Spain.The event was hosted by
University Camilo Jose Cela in
conjunction with the Spanish
University Sport Committee
with the collaboration of the
municipality of Boadilla del
Monte.EUSA was represented at the
championship by EUSA Vice
President Mr Haris Pavletic,
EUSA Honorary Member Mr
Filipe Santos, Football Technical
Delegate Mr Andreas Demetriou
and Assistant Technical
Delegate Ms Ourania Foskolou.In the men’s final, the title of
champion went to Russia’s
Kuban State University who
won a thrilling match against
Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatyuk
National Pedagogical University
from Ukraine, with the final
scoreline reading 4-2 to the
