AGELESS STYLE

HOW TO LOOK
CHIC IN JEANS
JEAN THEORY
Acing casual cool is as easy as slipping on a good pair of jeans.
But refining it? That’s where polished styling is key. This season,
designers set a new standard for effortless dressing, showing a
wide range of washes, cuts, and silhouettes with structured jackets
and tailored button-downs. Stella McCartney’s ’ 90 s-inspired
twist paired stonewashed front-seam jeans with a utilitarian
collared shirt and barely there sandals, while at Celine, Hedi
Slimane channeled the ’ 70 s with high-waisted flares, a
collarless vest, and white ankle boots. Daniel Lee’s collection
for Bottega Veneta featured crisp indigo wash denim and
square-toe pumps as the base for a sleek double-denim combo.
Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller proved that opposites really do
attract by juxtaposing distressed straight-leg jeans with an
oversize blazer and heeled mules. And at Saint Laurent, Anthony
Vaccarello turned raw-edged Bermuda shorts into the ultimate
party staple by way of an evening jacket and strappy patent
heels. Pick your favorites, style them accordingly, and watch
as your baby blues feel instantly sophisticated. Ariana Marsh
