straightoutofReaktorwithnoprocessing–it
worked; I didn’t need to do anything to it, so I
just committed straight away. When you find
those sounds, it’s always really important to
just jump in and get them in there.
“Sometimes, I’ve made these amazing
sounds at the time, and then when I’ve gone to
load the project back up, the sound’s
disappeared. I’ve got something different,
because I probably didn’t do something
specific in Reaktor to make sure it came back.
So what I always do with Reaktor, and synths
where you don’t know if you’re necessarily
going to be able to get the program back if you
have to, is bounce it into audio, just so you’ve
got it. With that sound, I was pretty sure I
wouldn’t be able to get it again if I lost it.”
