Insignal-processingterms,a choruseffect

takestheinputsignalandblendsit withoneor

moredelayed,pitch-modulatedcopiesofitself,

ultimatelycreatinga smooth,thickening,

‘swimming’effectthat’s synonymous with

guitarandsynthprocessing.

Themoredelayed copies are blended, the

moreversatileandcustomisable the effect.

Manystockchorusplugins only provide one or

twoadditionaldelaylines, but Chorus CM

featuresa whopping three. Each line can be

independentlylevelled, panned around the

stereopanorama,and LFO-modulated at

differentrates.

What’s more, Chorus CM can be flipped from

a ‘regular’ mode over to Analog mode, the latter

emulating the built-in bucket-brigade delay

chorus found on a famous 1980s synthesiser,

complete with a circuit-modelled noise stage

for authenticity.

Chorus CM’s broad range of sweet spots

makes it ideal for all chorusing tasks, from

subtle stereo widening to overt densifying and
