RENAULT MORPHOZ

The dictionary definition of a concept car,
Renault’s shape-shifting Morphoz plays
on the idea of a modular design that can
majestically transform from a compact
city car with an adequate 249-mile range
into a long-distance cruiser at the press of
a button. The front A-pillar shifts forward
to make room for a larger battery pack,
while the rear can slide back for increased
interior legroom and boot space. Will it
happen? Probably not. Is it cool? You bet.

LEXUS LF-30
ELECTRIFIED
Gullwing doors... futuristic drive-by-wire
steering... sci-fi styling – Lexus has gone
full Blade Runner with its vision of the
2030s. Driving info is presented by means
of AR, while gesture control will be used
in place of buttons. The LF-30 Electrified
also carries the Lexus Airporter drone,
capable of transporting bags from your
doorstep to the vehicle’s luggage area.
Ooh, you lazy bugger!

CITROEN AMI ONE

Youngsters have largely been priced out
of new cars, what with crazy insurance
premiums and the general running costs
associated with the open road. Citroen
wants to change all that. Its Ami One
is technically a quadricycle, meaning
14-year-olds in France and 16-year-olds
here in the UK can drive it. This electric
urban warrior is touted as safe, fun to
drive – and cheaper than a London
Travelcard to lease on a monthly basis.

Sleek and destroy
Aside from the aero
gains, the Prophecy’s
curvaceous shape
could signal a new
direction for this
‘safe’ brand.

Devil’s air-cut
Intakes at the
bottom of the doors
suck in air, purify it
and pump it into the
cabin... then back out
into the world.
