“I go to the TT every year, but I fly over. A

friend who lives in Ramsey said I should come

over for a weekend with my bike. Getting off

the ferry at 10pm, my mate met me in his car

and I followed him over the Mountain. The

sunset was amazing — the whole sky was pink.

“It was the end of the Southern 100 raceon

the Thursday, then the rest of the weekend

was playtime. We rode all the race courses

• the TT, the Southern 100, and the old road
  circuit at Jurby. Then we spent the time onthebackroads— there’sa lovelysectionfromKirk
  Michael to Peel, and the A36 out of Port Erin,whereTopGearfilmed.
