accessible song to this day, though.

wasdestinedforsuccess,butofcourse
nothingcouldhavepreparedanyonefor
thesortofsuccesstheyhad.thatwasa
surprise,tohavethemexplodeonsuch
a hugelevel.AliceInChainswerethe
firstbandtohavethatsortofmajor-label
success,andthenPearlJam.It wasweird,
becausethereweresomanybandsfrom
whatwasessentiallya smallprovincial
cityallsuddenlyhavingsuccessinthereal
world,onthebigstage.
