UK Export Finance (UKEF) is the UK’s export credit agency,
a government department, working alongside the Department for
International Trade. In 2018/19, UKEF provided £6.8 billion in support
for UK exports. 79% of the companies we supported were small and
medium-sized enterprises.
Our agreements with the UK’s largest commercial lenders allow SMEs
to access UKEF-backed fi nancing directly from their bank. We also have
a team of Export Finance Managers based in every region of the UK
providing face-to-face support and guidance.
