Crafting surreal images is one of the great joys of using
Photoshop. As Walt Disney is often credited as saying, “It’s
kind of fun to do the impossible.” To that end, this project
explores a method of creating an impossible spiral-shaped
lighthouse. This project does lean on some skills and tech-
niques borrowed from traditional illustration methods, so be
prepared to work with paths, the Pen tool, and reference lines.
It may look intimidating if you aren’t experienced with these
tools, but the effort is worth it.
