Schneider was living in India last
year when she signed with a Japanese
agency (and was discovered by a
Parisian modeling agent a year later on
Instagram), making her first whistle-
stop tour of the shows in Milan and
Paris this past September. “I feel as if
growing up all over the world has
made my identity much like a
patchwork,” says Schneider, 18, who
was born to a Japanese mother and
French father and is now based
in Paris. “Each place and experience
has shaped me differently.”
