tor of development for Jessica
Biel’s Iron Ocean Films, is post-
poning her March 28 wedding to
musician John Schroeder. “Since
our priority was having our fam-
ily together, we really couldn’t live
with ourselves if we asked people
to put themselves at risk,” Kovacs
says. “Every couple needs to
decide what the right thing is to
do for themselves.” One pair who

Wanna Meet for Drinks?
Here’s the Zoom Link
Just because California is on lock-
down doesn’t mean Hollywood
isn’t hobnobbing. Virtual happy
hours are popping up all over
town, with industry professionals
logging on to Zoom for the fes-
tivities. Longtime film exec David
Dinerstein has hosted several, with
attendees including former CBS
exec John Wentworth (and his res-
taurateur husband, Jamie Gluck),
filmmakers and partners Barry
Jenkins and Lulu Wang, advertis-
ing exec Chris Gibbin and veteran
communications specialist Chris
Day. “It was no different than get-
ting together at any other time,”
Dinerstein tells THR. “We talked
about issues we faced in business,
recipes, movies and books we
were catching up on.” CAA’s talent
department also has been holding
virtual parties — “Quarantine &
Chill,” they’re calling them — as
have stylist Warren Alfie Baker and
WME ’s Jordan Cerf.
How to Get Movie Stars
to Read to Your Kid
Want Amy Adams to tell your kid
a story? Thanks to a new Save
the Children Instagram series
organized by Adams and Jennifer
Garner, all you have to do is click
on “Save With Stories” (and, if you
feel like it, donate $10) and a slew
of stars — Reese Witherspoon,
Jeff Bridges, Natalie Portman,
Jimmy Fallon, Lupita Nyong’o and
Jamie Lee Curtis, among others
— will entertain your stir-crazed
little ones with videos of them
reading children’s books. So far,
the program has 50,000 follow-
ers, the videos have drawn nearly
27 million views, and thousands
of dollars have been raised to help
feed and educate kids during the
coronavirus crisis. “I don’t have
any children, but I’ve been watch-
ing the videos,” says Betsy Zorio,
head of Save the Children’s U.S.
programs and advocacy. “They’ve
become a nice little way to take a
break during the day and get your
mind off the shortage of toilet
paper.” — KIRSTEN CHUBA
How to Get Movie Stars
to Read to You
Meanwhile, Busy Philipps and
Mandy Moore, among other enter-
tainers, are over at the Cameo app
— an online platform that stars
like Caitlyn Jenner and I c e -T nor-
mally use to charge as much as
$2,500 for sending personalized
videos to individual fans — rais-
ing money for No Kid Hungry and
World Central Kitchen. “A lot of
people are asking for videos for
their friends and family to cheer
them up,” says Philipps, who
collects $100 for the charities for
each of her personalized mes-
sages. “It’s a very strange time,
so [it’s nice] to be able to send a
friend a pick-me-up — ‘I know
you love some White Chicks,’ or
whatever.” — K.C.
Larry David Takes a Swing
for Riviera’s Golf Caddies
The caddies at Riviera Country
Club have a (curmudgeonly)
guardian angel — Larry David. The
creator of Curb Your Enthusiasm
(which has shot multiple scenes
at the Pacific Palisades venue)
has teamed with Endeavor’s Lloyd
Braun (after whom David named
a character on Seinfeld) to set up
a GoFundMe account to help the
bag carriers who’ve been put out of
work because of the lockdown. As
of March 25, the page had raised
$95,420 thanks to donations from
To m B r a d y ($2,000), Ari Emanuel
($1,000), Sony’s Josh Greenstein
($500), producer David Friendly
($500), Centerview Partners’ Skip
Paul ($2,500), UTA’s Peter Benedek
($1,000) and Jay Sures ($500),
and, of course, David himself
($5,000).
