MOLLY’S PERSONAL TOUR

Favourite shop
CERÁMICA LOS ARRAYANES
It sells ceramics made in
Granada. I love all the bright
colours in their designs.
Calle Alhóndiga, 16

Favourite gallery
CASA MUSEO MAX MOREAU
Not exactly a gallery, but an
artist’s home, this property in
the Albaicín is recommended
if you like art and painting.
Camino Nuevo de San Nicolás, 12

Favourite café or bar
CAFÉ LISBOA
It’s right in the centre of town
and the coffee is really good.
cafelisboa.es

Favourite restaurant
MIRADOR DE MORAYMA
Located in the Albaicín in

a Carmen building, it’s a
charming location to spend
a long lunch or dinner. They
also cater well for vegetarians.

Favourite hotel
HOTEL CASA 1800
A quaint setting with great
views of the Alhambra.
Although there’s no access
by car to the hotel (you have
to park in the city centre),
it’s worth the hassle to be
in a historic building with
the river and main tourist
area right on your doorstep.

The one thing you
shouldn’t miss
HELADERĺA LOS ITALIANOS
The Cassata ice cream is the
best! (Open from mid-March

until the end of September).
Calle Gran Vía de Colón, 4

Favourite markets
SAN AGUSTÍN MARKET
Best to go early in the
morning, this is the
main market in Granada.
Just off Calle Gran Vía de Colón

Favourite way to
spend a few hours
Enjoying a drink with a tapa
somewhere in the old town.
An outdoor terrace with
views across the river is best.

Best views
Don’t miss the sunset from
Mirador de San Nicolás.
For a similar but less-crowded
viewpoint, try Mirador
de San Cristóbal or
Placeta de Carvajales.
