near Oxford last
summer.
Lissie paid the
tribute on March 22,
a day before the trial
of Andrew’s alleged
killers collapsed due
to coronavirus. Mr
Justice Edis halted
the case at the Old
Bailey after three
jury members were
forced to self-isolate.
The judge apologised
but said such an
important case must
be decided by more than nine jurors.
Henry Long, 18, of Reading, and
two 17-year-olds are accused of the
PC’s murder and a combination of
other charges including manslaughter

THE widow of PC Andrew Harper
has left a heartbreaking message for
him on what would have been his
29th birthday.
Lissie Harper said she could feel
her husband with her in spirit as she
laid flowers at their favourite spot.
The Thames Valley PC died from his
injuries after allegedly being dragged
down a road when his foot became
caught in a strap trail-
ing behind a car.
He had been mar-
ried to Lissie for just a
month when he died
while investigating a
reported quad bike
theft last August.
The couple had been
waiting to go on
honeymoon.
Lissie, who had been
with Andrew for 10
years, left him a poign-
ant message on what
would have been the
day he turned 29.
She said: “Oh my lovely boy, I can’t
believe I’m spending this day without
you. I walked at our favourite spot,
I sat in the sun and I remembered
all of your special birthdays we did
spend together. I know you were

FILM star Alec Baldwin is having a fifth
child with his second wife – at 62.
His fitness instructor wife Hilaria, 36,
revealed yesterday she was pregnant
again, five months after a miscarriage.
In a video featuring the baby’s
heartbeat, Hilaria said: “All is healthy
with this little munchkin”. Alec added:
“My, oh my...”
She already has four children aged
under seven with 30 Rock actor Alec,
who won an Emmy award for his TV
parody of Donald Trump in 2016.
He is also father to Ireland, 24, from
