BRATISLAVA 301GETTING AROUND
The historic centre of Bratislava is mostly
pedestrianized, so the best way to explore
it is on foot. For longer trips within the
city and into its environs, there is a quick
and efficient network of buses, trams and
trolleybuses. These also run at intervals
throughout the night, starting from námestie
SNP. Drivers should be aware that it can
be difficult to get a parking space, and that
leaving a car illegally parked could incur a
heavy fine. From April to October ferries
and sightseeing boats operate from a jetty
on the Danube at Fajnorovo Nábrežie.SEE ALSO- Where to Stay pp328–9
