GETTING AROUND

Vilnius is a compact city that can easily be explored on

foot. Walking is the best way to explore the Old Town.

Cycling is another popu lar way of getting around the town

centre, and the tourist office in the Old Town offers

bicycles on rent. Outlying sites can be reached by bus, but

others, located further away from the city centre, are more

easily reached by car or taxi.
