A large 17th-century farmhouse, whitewashed and red tiled, stands on the tranquil green opposite the medieval
barn of Ter Doest. Inside it are exposed oak beams and, in winter, an open fire. This rural setting forms the back-
drop for refined dishes prepared along traditional lines, based on local seafood and meat from Ter Doest’s farm.

Built in 1811, the old Napoleonic fortress provides an unusual setting for high-class French and Belgian cuisine.
The indoor seating is under the impressively massive arches of the fortification, but there is also a large terrace for
