Luxury Homes and Developments

water views are what a buyer
is looking for, water views are
what they’ll get.
“We maximize views from
every corridor so all of our
apartments are east to west,
east being towards the ocean
and west facing our fabulous
city’s Intracoastal,” Cohen says.
“At nighttime, the ocean is dark
but the view to the west is equal,
if not better than what you get
from the ocean in the daytime
because there’s so much to see
when the city is lit up.”
For those who like to
experience the ocean minus the
sand, Turnberry Ocean Club
features a lobby-level infinity
pool with full poolside service.
From that vantage point, it can
feel like the pool is blending
right into the Atlantic. And
anyone who wants the full
experience of sea and sand can
take advantage of the club’s
private beach amenities, which
include complimentary chaise
lounges and umbrellas.

AMENITIES AFLOAT
Cohen describes residing at Turnberry as
like “living in a five-star resort 365 days a year.”
Catering to residents with over 70,000 square feet of
amenities, including golf, tennis, a waterpark, spa
and full-service restaurant, just to name a few, it’s
hard to argue.
“Our clients really want a full circle of amenities,”
Cohen says. “We have the 30th, 31st and 32nd floors
of the building that offer a good majority of our
amenity levels, but we also have fabulous outdoor
facilities with activities for kids on the beach,
wakeboard, aerobics and other types of classes.”
Turnberry Ocean Club also boasts highly
desirable marina access for residents who want a
fully immersive waterfront-living experience.
“It’s a big amenity,” Cohen says. “If you’re a boater,
you know marinas are limited. Owners at Turnberry
Ocean Club have priority access to Turnberry marina.
We’re all part of the same Fontainebleau family. A
good amount of our owners do have sizable boats,
and they love the fact that they can keep them within
a half mile of their residence.”

CELEBRATIONS BY THE SEA
No boat of your own? There are waterfront
properties that have you covered, like The
Residences at Baha Mar in The Bahamas, where
ownershaveaccesstoEternity1,a213-footsuperyacht
available for VIP charters for customizable lengths
of time, as well asEternity II, a 65-foot yacht. Fully
staffed (including a private chef), it ups the ante
on waterfront living — and it’s not just for getaway
island cruises.
“One of our residential owners is going to be
here at the end of the month and he doesn’t want to
charterEternity 1itforaweekbecause,asanavid
golfer and tennis player, he loves being at Baha Mar,”
says Genevieve Conroy, vice president residential
sales and marketing with Baha Mar. “However, what
he’s going to do is charter the yacht for an evening
and have a cocktail party with friends. There’s no
better place for a cocktail party.”
Baha Mar boasts daily luxuries with the NEXUS
day club, featuring a champagne lounge, restaurant
and cocktail bar, DJ booth, indoor gaming salon and
two infinity-edge pools with private cabanas, plus
those all-important ocean views.

“It’s absolutely amazing
and beautiful,” Conroy says.
“It’s also private. Our owners
all receive a membership
to NEXUS, as well as 24
complimentary rounds of
golf annually on the Jack
Nicklaus Royal Blue golf
course, not to mention many
other VIP amenities.”

STRESS-FREE LIFESTYLE
Baha Mar makes every day
feel like an endless holiday
with the option for owners
to participate in their hotel
rental program. This service
takes away much of the stress
that can come with owning
a second or third home that
may be far from your primary
residence.
“You don’t have to worry
about maintenance or
repairs, all of that is taken
care of,” Conroy says. “To me
there’s nothing better than
having someone else look
after the details.”
Baha Mar owners who want to pop in for the
weekend can do so at a moment’s notice, he says,
without much planning, maximizing the way in
which they use a residence that is first and foremost
for relaxing.
“All you have to do is pick up the phone, send an
email or text, and tell your butler you need some
pre-provisioning with your arrival time, and they
organize everything,” Conroy explains. “Baha Mar
will organize your transportation to the property.
They organize everything you need for your stay.
All you do is turn up. It’s just an easy way to have a
second home.”
Cohan agrees that simplifying life for residents is
the key to what makes Oceana Bal Harbour beloved
by homeowners and guests. It also makes the
property a great waterfront investment.
“We try to make it as easy as possible,” he says.
“Everything comes down to enjoying and relaxing.
I love seeing the people who live here really take
advantage of the location. Just like when you go on
a vacation, you don’t want to spend your time inside
your room in the hotel. You want to be outside and
enjoying what the place has to offer.”

OCEANA BAL HARBOUR
Built at sea level, residents can take in ocean views from the moment they pull into Oceana Bal Harbour’s porte cochère.
