Foliage may decline after flowering, in
which case the plants can be cut back
partially or all the way down to basal
growth if necessary.
Some of the more notable relatives
include Thalictrum delavayi ‘Hewitt’s
Double’, T. flavum subsp. glaucum, and
T. rochebrunianum.
Thalictrum ‘Elin’ is a lofty 8-ft.
meadow rue that has great vigor,
stately self-supporting stems, and
lavender and pale yellow blooms June
