Thecoverphoto of the Taj Mahal
[Issue203;February 2020] is
stunning,however I have serious
concerns.Presumably the photo was
takenbyadrone, but what if every
visitortoIndia’s Taj Mahal or nearby
tookadrone photo at the same
time.Surelythis is a very intrusive
act.Idoenjoy the Wanderlust
photosbutphotographers must

Star letter
Travel keeps you young
Jumping for joy at being in Tanzania and the Ngorongoro Crater in 2017, age
- I’d always wanted to go to Africa and I didn’t want to be one of those people on
their last days saying they wished they had done it.This picture proves
travelling keeps you young. On my irst ever trip to South Africa in 2010 my guide
showed me how to do a ‘jump up’ photo and I’ve been doing them ever since.
I truly did get bitten by the travel bug. I’d rather my grandchildren say, “Poor
Granny died falling o a camel in Morocco” than “She passed quietly
in her rocking chair in the old age home.” I’ve been to 49 countries – all on
a budget, no big bus grey-haired tours, just small group adventures.
