Cover Redesign
This month, Michelle Argyle at Melissa Williams Design
reimagines the cover of Hundred Percent Chance by
Robert K. Brown. The author praised the “warmth and
humanity” of the new cover.

Including an
image with
a person
humanizes
the cover in an
essential way.
Tiny details can
do a lot for a
cover. Including
the pulse lines
around “a
memoir” tells
the reader
immediately
that this is
probably a
story revolving
around life and
death.
While the
original cover
is moody in a
fantastic way,
I felt choosing
an image with
more color
could give this
memoir more
visibility.
I really liked
the typography
on the original
cover and
ultimately
decided to stick
with a similar
sans-serif font
for the title.
