Aswementionedearlier,thesemountscanbeupgraded
witha hot-swapdevicetoo.If youplanonair-coolingyour
PC,thenthere’sanample176mmCPUcoolerclearance,
largelybroughtaboutbythefactthecaseis quitewidefor
itsheight.It stands49cmtall,andmeasures23cmwide.
Buildinga PCinthecaseposednoproblems,andthe
motherboardtraysportsplentyofcable-routingholes,as

wellasa largecablecovertohideanyfanorpowercables

youdecidetoroutethroughit. Theroofandbasealsoinclude

dustfilterstokeeptheinteriorcleanaswell.

Performance

TheLancoolII’sCPUdeltaT of57°Cis reasonable,butit was

stilla coupleofdegreeswarmerthantheoriginalcase’s

54°C.ThecaseperformedsimilarlytotheCorsairiCUE465X

RGB,butmuchbetterthantheLianLiAlpha550X,which

topped60°C.TheGPUdeltaT of55°Cwasmorecompetitive,

matchingtheFractalDesignDefineS2andNZXT H500,but

theLancoolOnewasa littlecooleragain.Thankfully,thefans

wereexceptionallyquiet.Overall,theLancoolII is a capable

andquietcaserightoutofthebox.

Conclusion

Withreasonablecooling,a lowprice,lotsoffeaturesanda

striking,tastefulRGB-equippeddesign,theLancoolII is a hit.

It stillincludesmostmodernfeatures,it hasdecentwater-

coolingsupportandit hasmoreharddiskmountsthan

manyofitspeers.Wealsoliketheflexibility;if watercooling

is yourpriority,youcanremovetheharddiskcage.

aspectsabout,andtheadditionofa fullcable-hidingarray

ofplatesbehindthemotherboardtraymeansit’sblissfully

easytomakea great-lookingPCtoo,asyoucanseein
