In March, Apple released new versions of the Mac mini and MacBook Air. The Mac mini was a verymild refresh; the new models were basically the old models but with double the storage. The newMacBook Airs, on the other hand, were a significant step up from their predecessors. Themuch-criticised butterfly-switched keyboard was replaced by new keyboards with a scissormechanism, and the old inverted ’T’ shape for the arrow keys returned. It got a very significantprocessor upgrade, and a faster graphics performance too. Storage was increased, and if you gofor the cheaper of the two models, the price is actually lower.
