Women In Music
Pt. III
HAIM
The much-loved pop-rockers HAIM self-
consciously aimed to abandon all of the
rules with their third studio album, Women
In Music Pt. III. “I just hope people can hear
how much fun we had making it,” the band’s
lead vocalist Danielle Haim enthused to
Apple Music.
FIVE FACTS:
- HAIM consists of three sisters: Danielle
Haim on lead vocals, Este Haim on bass guitar
and contributing vocals, and Alana Haim on
 guitars, keyboards and contributing vocals.
- While the group’s recorded sound is
very much in the pop camp, their live
performances tend to be rockier in tone.
- “We were just experimenting,” Danielle has
revealed about how the band made the new
album, adding: “We didn’t care about genre
or sticking to any sort of script.”
- “A big theme in this album is recognizing
your sadness and expelling it with a lot of
 aggression,” Danielle has further explained,
despite the album’s largely exuberant mood.
- Six singles have already been released from
 the album.
