Create a small hinge by simplyrolling out a long cylinder with some indentation fordetails.For the tin effect tier:Steps 28a-c.On the 10â cake, use a flat tipped paintbrush and makedashes, mixing grey/black/white food colouring. Oncefinished, take the white food colouring and repeat witha dry brushed effect. Lastly, use the silver ultra dust tohighlight in certain areas, bringing out the shine of tin.Steps 29a & b.Using the same dark brown fondant used for thepanels, press into the rope mould. Do a brown waterwash over the rope and set aside to dry. Once dry,brush the gold ultra dust over the top to highlight it.To assemble the cake:Step 30.Stack all of the cakes accordingly. Apply the ropearound the bottom of the tin tier once the cake is fullyassembled. Arrange moss around the base of the cakewith the hot glue gun. Carefully insert all flowers intothe desired areas using posy picks or straws to coverthe wire.
